Privacy Policy

This policy explains what information Jigsaw: Piece by Piece (“the app”, “we”, “us”) collects, how it is used, and the choices you have. The app is provided by Pulse Orbit Ltd, South Africa.
In short: you don't need an account, your own photos stay on your device unless you start a friend race, and we don't sell your personal information.
1. Information we collect

We don't ask for your name, email address, contacts or location, and there's no chat between players.
2. Advertising
The free version shows ads provided by [Google AdMob]. To show and measure ads, the ad provider may collect information such as your device's advertising identifier, IP address, device type and how you interact with ads. On iPhone, you'll be asked for permission before your advertising identifier is used to track you across other companies' apps and websites, and you can change this in Settings at any time. On Android you can reset or delete your advertising ID in your device settings. Learn more in Google's advertising policy.
Premium users don't see ads.
3. Services we use
- Google Firebase (authentication, database, file storage and web hosting): Firebase privacy information
- Google AdMob (ads in the free version)
- Apple App Store / Google Play (purchases and subscriptions)
- Google Fonts (the app's lettering, downloaded when the app starts)
- Pexels/Unsplash (downloads pictures for the ready-made gallery and Daily Puzzle)
These providers receive basic technical information, such as your IP address, when the app connects to them.
4. How long we keep it
- Information stored only on your device is removed when you delete the app.
- Race photos and race details are kept for up to 30 days after the race, then deleted.
- Anonymous player IDs that are no longer used are deleted after 30 months.
5. Sharing
We don't sell or rent personal information. The photo, race name and progress from a friend race are visible to the other player in that race. Otherwise we share information only with the service providers listed above, or when required by law.
6. Children
The app isn't directed at children under 13 (or the minimum age in your country), and we don't knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has shared information with us, contact us and we'll delete it.
7. Your choices and rights
- Single-player photos never leave your device. Only start a friend race with a photo you're happy to share.
- You can turn off ad personalisation in your device settings, or go Premium to remove ads.
- Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct or delete your information, or object to how it's used. Email us at pulseorbitza@gmail.com. Because races are anonymous, include your race code so we can find the right data.
8. Security
Data is sent over encrypted connections, and access to race data is limited to signed-in players by security rules. No system is completely secure, but we work to protect your information.
9. Changes
We may update this policy. We'll change the date at the top, and for important changes we'll let you know in the app.
